Pharma Indochina took place in Thua Thien Hue - Vietnam

The sixth Pharma Indochina conference was held in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue from Dec. 16-17 with the participation of experts from Thailand, Japan, the Republic of Korea , France , the Netherlands, Vietnam and the World Health Organisation. National Institute of Medicinal Materials (NIMM) also took part in this conference. Forty-five reports on pharmaceutical management and processing, as well as developing the pharmaceutical sector during the global economic slow down were presented. Participants highly valued Vietnam’s two reports on preserving and developing sustainable pharmaceutical recourses in Vietnam and the world pharmaceutical industry in the first decade of the 21st century. During the two day conference, an exhibition on pharmaceuticals and facilities was also held.

*The first Pharma Indochina was held in 1994 as an initiative of the Hanoi Pharmaceutical University , the Ho Chi Minh City Medical and Pharmaceutical University and the Mahidol University of Thailand .
